I am Noah Dempewolf, a designer and illustrator with roots in the Oklahoman outback and industrial sprawl of South Korea. I currently reside in Colorado. I am the Menacing Panda.

Not so much a secret-identity but an alternative made-up moniker intended to inform, surprise and summarize my overall approach to design. I’m not dangerous, but I strive to create a body of killer work for a diverse group of individuals and organizations.

When not pushing pixels or pressing pen to paper I read, run, write, snowboard and volunteer. I’m passionate about design education and advocating on behalf of the transracial and international adoptee community. I also collect watches, vinyl records and comic books. My desert island all-time favorite sandwich is the reuben.

menacingpanda.com was launched in 2004 and is currently in its third iteration powered by Expression Engine . This site features programming magic via JQuery, and LiveValidation. The design and front-end markup was created by yours truly. All type is set in Helvetica or Arial (depending on your system set-up) and was created on my trusty Macbook Pro. Site hosting is provided via Media Temple.

I make every effort to post at least twice a week with freshly-minted content. I reserve the right to delete or modify comments if and when I think you’re being an a-hole.
