This poster was an experiment and exploration of the odd things our minds create and perceive. Case in point, the jackalope, the mythical, legendary hybrid of an antelope and a jack rabbit. At the time of this poster’s creation I was also interested in exploring visual spatial ability and more specifically one’s closure speed, or the ability to divine a complete meaning from an incomplete or obscured source. The work of the great Japanese designer Shigeo Fukuda was also an inspiration and resource.
