These drugs can cause serious health conditions for the health professional charged with preparing them. We wanted to be very straight-forward with the message of this graphic, cytotoxic contamination is dangerous because it is practically invisible to human senses. But, just because you can’t taste, smell, see or hear the contamination, it’s still there. The PhaSeal product advertised by this graphic was designed to help provide additional protection against the cross-contamination that occurs when reconstituting cytotoxic drugs from a powder to a liquid.

The photography for this graphic was shot in an actual working pharmacy and then retouched to provide the black light and glowing contamination effects. For this piece I provided the initial concept (visual and copy), helped art-direct the shoot and worked up the final design.
