Wedding Invites
Personal
My wife and I are fairly straightforward and uncomplicated people. We love good food, travel and spending time with our loved ones. We love the simple things. Like our passions, my wife and I’s mutual taste in design trends toward the understated. It is these qualities that we wanted represented in our wedding invites. Thus, as the designer I tried to keep it simple. Inverting the “M” and the “6” allowed me to make an allegorical statement about our union, while subtly informing our guests as to the day of our big event.

We also took visual inspiration from our ceremony/reception site which was the North Building of the Denver Art Museum designed by the illustrious architect and designer, Gio Ponti. To keep the costs down I utilized both traditional two-color and full-color digital printing processes. I also designed a complementary web site that went a little deeper into our story as a couple. The web site also handled event RSVP’s and contained a mobile information section just in case our guests needed to look up directions and event details on the fly.
